Dr. Elizabeth Racine is a veterinarian and freelance writer living in New England.  After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Atlantic Veterinary College, she pursued a career in small animal general practice. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Racine runs The Veterinary Writer, a veterinary content writing company with a focus on providing easily accessible, high-quality information to pet owners.  When she’s not in the clinic or creating content, Dr. Racine enjoys spending time with her beagle, Dasher, or her three cats, Wasabi, Sake, and Thumbelina.
